Kerry FC manager Colin Healy has come out strongly in support of his son Arran, whom he also manages, after he was targeted for heavy criticism by a fan in the John O’Regan Stand in Mounthawk Park last Friday evening.
The incident is understood to have involved just a single supporter, whose vocal criticism of Arran veered into persistent heckling. Indeed, the Kerry midfielder’s name was booed by the same fan when the teams were announced.
