Senior members of the Royal Family – including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – are unaware of Sarah Ferguson’s whereabouts, it is claimed.

Sources understand Beatrice and Eugenie “do not know the full picture” about their mother’s location, which has become a mystery in the public eye since she and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were booted out of the Royal Lodge in February. Andrew eventually moved to Marsh Farm, a residence on the Sandringham Estate, despite allegedly implying the property was “beneath him”.

But little is known about Sarah’s latest move, on the other hand, reportedly even among her family members. Rob Shuter, a royal journalist, quoted a source in his latest Substack, who said: “No one knows exactly where she is…And that includes the very top… There’s real uncertainty about how much Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie know….They may not have the full picture either.”

The piece on the Naughty But Nice Substack adds to the discussion around Sarah’s location, as her last public appearance was at the funeral of Katharine, Duchess of Kent, in September last year.

We reported this month how Fergie, 66, reportedly feels “incredibly betrayed” by members of the Royal Family amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The former duchess of York, 66, has faced intense criticism for her past association with the convicted sex offender.

She and her former husband Andrew, also 66, were mentioned several times in the latest releases of the files, and in emails to the sex fiend, Ms Ferguson called him her “dear spectacular and special friend”. Andrew himself denies any wrongdoing.

Mr Shuter, though, believes the public will soon become aware of Sarah’s whereabouts as she is likely to be planning a comeback with new projects. The source continued: “She’s not someone who disappears for good…She always comes back…. She’s thinking about a comeback. She’ll resurface, and when she does, it will be on her terms.”

But speaking earlier this month, another source told of Fergie’s feelings of “isolation”. They said: “Sarah feels incredibly betrayed… Fergie’s very bitter, she’s angry and feels wronged by everyone in the family.” They added, though, they believe the author is too polite to confront anyone.

Fergie, who divorced Andrew in 1996, was not offered a royal residence when she and the former Navy pilot left Royal Lodge. Since Andrew’s move to Sandringham, public sightings of him have been few and far between. He’s cut a lonely figure since being booted out of Royal Lodge, holing himself up at Wood Farm, and only being seen on the occasional drive or dog walk.
