Having last weekend off was not part of the plan, but after being knocked out of the Challenge Cup by Exeter, Munster did at least have more time to dissect their shortcomings at Sandy Park, while regrouping for a huge end-of-season URC run-in.
It starts in Treviso on Saturday evening, where Munster will face Exeter’s latest conquerors Benetton, who require a huge upturn in fortunes to secure a top eight spot.
