It’s a funny old life. Never mind life, it’s a funny old week. One day I’m reviewing the second season of Big Mood and saying how difficult it is to make a comedy-drama that satisfactorily meets both requirements of that genre.
The next, along comes Margo’s Got Money Troubles (Apple TV, episodes 1-3, Wednesday, April 15), an eight-part miniseries that shows exactly how this kind of thing should be done. It’s wonderful, as smooth and seamless a blend of funny and serious as you’ll ever see.
