Your local farmers market or fruit and veg shop will have plenty pumpkins on sale of course but selecting one fresh from the farm definitely adds a fun element. And many of these farms have lots of other autumn treats and events on too. Be sure to book tickets or call before you travel. Typically these are outdoor events and often on working farms so dogs may not be allowed and some places just aren’t suitable for buggies. Oh, and maybe pack wellies and rain macs, and even waterproof overalls for the smallies.
