Ciarán Kilkenny is an absentee as Dublin name three championship debutants in their starting team to face Wicklow for their opening Leinster Championship game, a quarter-final in Aughrim on Sunday.
Captain Con O’Callaghan is named to start, having only come off the bench against Galway, the game that was lost to put them down to Division 2. His full return will bring comfort given his leadership, though Kilkenny’s loss could hit hard. The seven-time All-Ireland winner and now longest serving player featured against Galway four weeks ago and the presumption is he is injured.
