Open the comments under an Instagram or TikTok post by any celebrity or influencer and you’re likely to find five words every time: “where is that [insert clothing item here] from?”. It’s so prevalent that celebrities et al have often been chastised for being seen to gatekeep where the coveted clothing came from if they don’t answer.
It’s the same on red carpets, where “who are you wearing?” is traditionally the go-to question.
