Townalaughta, Culleens, Co. Sligo and formerly of Owenbeg, Culleens, Co. Sligo – peacefully in Sligo University Hospital, on the 16th of April 2026, following a long illness borne with great bravery & courage, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents William and Molly Crean.
Martin John will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken family, wife Peggy, his children Sandra, Tina, Neola, Geraldine, Dorothy, Mj, Niamh, Liam and Siobhan, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother and sisters, nieces and nephews.

Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West, F26 DR90 on Saturday, 18th April from 4pm until 7pm.
Requiem Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, Kilglass, F26 NH61 on Sunday, 19th April at 1.30pm, with burial afterwards at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass.
