People usually go to events like the forthcoming Ideal Home Show to get ideas for the interiors of their homes, and if you’re passionate about home decor, this annual event is always an enjoyable and useful outing.

Sarah O’Neill got even more from her visit there some years ago in the form of much-needed encouragement from fellow professionals; they told her to get over her nervousness at presenting herself as an interior designer and start her own business.
