A warning has been issued to Irish shoppers as a popular breakfast item sold around the country was pulled from shelves after a packaging mix-up.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) announced on Friday that Crowe’s Farm is carrying out a recall of certain batches of its Black & White Pudding Roulade.
The batches of Crowe’s Farm Black & White Pudding Roulade, with a pack size of pack size 360g, are being recalled due to incorrect use-by dates printed on the front of packs.

Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.
Anyone who has bought one of the affected products is advised to not eat it after the correct use-by date.

This latest recall comes after several food products were pulled from supermarket shelves last week following safety concerns.
The FSAI issued a number of alerts, warning shoppers about specific batches that may pose a risk to health.
The recalls cover a range of items like chicken, pasta and dessert products sold in popular supermarkets including Lidl and Tesco.
Households are being urged to check their cupboards, fridges and freezers for any of the affected products. Stores that sold the items have put notices in place to alert customers, and shoppers can return products for a refund – even without a receipt – or dispose of them safely at home.
Anyone who has any affected items at home is advised not to consume them. Instead, they should be returned to the store or thrown away.
