Excitement as new Mayo town takeaway opens doors to public

The wait is over for Mayo food lovers, as a new loaded fries business opened its doors to the public today in Castlebar.

Blasta, located in the centre of the county town, has created a stir on social media, with a series of Instagram posts.

The takeaway, located on Hopkins Road, uses a Dutch fryer to cook their freshly-cut chips, which are served in a cone with a selection of toppings.

The menu includes Barbecue Chips with Parmesan, Garlic Cheese Chips, Korean Barbecue Chicken and Chips, and a Spice Bag.
