The death has taken in place in England of former All-Ireland winner with Galway Mick Reynolds.
He was part of the legendary three-in-a-row side that won three All Ireland Football titles from 1964 to 1966.
He passed away in his native Manchester after having spent many years in Tuam where he worked as a sales rep.
Mick was part of the Tuam Stars team that won 7 Galway football titles in a row in the late 1950s and early ’60s.
He scooped five senior titles and three county league medals.
His nickname was ‘Mick The Kick’, which he earned when he scored a late point against Meath in the 1964 All-Ireland Semi-Final that earned Galway a place in the final.
Mick retired in 1967 after being made captain in Chicago as part of their tour of USA.
A funeral service for the late Mick Reynolds will be held in Manchester, with details yet to be announced.
