Leonardo DiCaprio proved he can take a joke and send one right back.
Nikki Glaser stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, April 21, and spilled the details on what happened after she roasted the One Battle After Another star during her hosting gig at the 2026 Golden Globes in January.
“I always send flowers to everyone that I made fun of that was a good sport about it, which was everyone,” the comedian, 42, told Fallon. “Just to say thank you because it is a part of why I’m successful at it.”

DiCaprio was the only one who returned the favor. “He sent me three baskets of pasta as a thank you,” Glaser said. “So funny. So good.”
The gift was a callback to Glaser’s Globes bit, where she dug up a 1991 Teen Beat profile on the actor instead of going for the obvious age-gap material. She explained that she struggled with the joke at first because the young girlfriend angle felt played out. “That joke’s been going on longer than his current girlfriend’s been alive,” she quipped to Fallon.
So she and her writing team pivoted, unearthing the old magazine feature where a young Leo dished on his favorite food. “I was like, ‘Leo, we don’t know anything about you. The only thing we know about you is from a Teen Beat article in 1991, where you told us your favorite food is pasta, pasta, and more pasta,” Glaser recalled.

Of course, the comedian couldn’t resist squeezing out a few more laughs at DiCaprio’s expense during her late-night appearance. After revealing the gift, she joked, “Part of me was like, ‘Does Leo want to smash?’” before adding, “Then I was like, ‘The type of girl he goes for, he wouldn’t send pasta to.’ It was a dry pasta.”
Glaser, who competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2018, told Fallon that if DiCaprio really wanted to woo her, the gift would’ve been different — maybe “a crib full of Dunkaroos and Go-Gurt.”
