A man in his 60s has died after he was struck by a bus at Dublin Airport in the early hours of this morning.

The incident took place on the Corballis Road shortly after midnight.

The man’s body was removed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

The scene on the Corballis Road has been preserved for a technical examination.

A partial road closure is in place at the main access route into the airport, with local diversions in place.

Gardaí said people travelling to Dublin Airport this morning should consider allowing extra time for their journey.

They are appealing to any witnesses, or any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were in the area 11.45pm last night and 12.15am this morning to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
