Over €1.2 million in prizes this week

A Cork prize bonder has scooped this month’s biggest prize. The lucky bond has made one person in the Rebel County half a million euros richer today in the end-of-month draw.
The winning Prize Bond is number BFG079275, and Irish State Savings bosses have confirmed it is held in County Cork. The lucky bond was purchased in 2023.
The big €500,000 prize is awarded on the last weekly draw of every calendar month. Meanwhile, there are weekly draws where the top prize is €50,000. Other cash prizes awarded each week include €1,000 and €500.
This week, there were over 8,735 prizes awarded in this week’s Prize Bond Draw, amounting to more than €1,231,975. The big weekly prize of €50,000 goes to Prize Bond number GK895388 held in County Carlow and purchased two decades ago, back in 2006.
Prizes are usually automatically paid into the Bondholder’s bank account or they can be automatically reinvested in new Prize Bonds. Check draw results online HERE.
Prize Bonds are an Ireland State Savings product which, instead of paying interest, offers bondholders the chance to win cash prizes every week. All winnings are tax-free, and Prize Bonds can be cashed in. Prize Bonds can be purchased by Direct Debit, online at StateSavings.ie, by telephone or at your local Post Office.
