All-Ireland champions Kerry open their 2026 campaign with a familiar duel against Clare.
The sides have met in the last three Munster SFC finals with the Kingdom emerging victorious on each occasion.
For the last three seasons, the provincial draw as offered the Banner a pathway to the Sam Maguire Cup, but this season they will need to dethrone Kerry to avoid the Tailteann Cup.
Jack O’Connor has a number of injury concerns following on from their Division One final loss to Donegal with Joe O’Connor and Seán O’Shea doubtful for the provincial semi-final.
Kerry are expected to have enough in reserve to progress to the Munster final, but the 2026 Championship has already produced a few upsets and O’Connor will urging his men to be typically ruthless in pursuit of victory.
