Live at the Marquee is returning to Cork for another summer with top local and international acts taking to the stage over 21 dates, starting from June 10.
Live at the Marquee 2026 commences on June 10 with K-Pop Forever! Tribute and the series of gigs will run until July 18.
Top musical acts including David Gray, Belters Only, Tom Grennan, Five, Bell X1, James Arthur, Natasha Bedingfield and Two Door Cinema Club are just a few of the acts descending on the Leeside venue over the coming months.
The American singer songwriter Kesha, Ireland’s own music icon Christy Moore and James Taylor and his All-Star Band are among the sold-out Marquee gigs.
Fans of comedy also can look forward to enjoying Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges closing out the festival on July 17 and 18.
Other acts on the line up include The Marquee Masters darts, Imelda May, The Divine Comedy , Florence Road, Allie Sherlock, Paul Weller, Stephanie Rainey, Route 94, The KK Sisters, Dec Pierce Block Rockin’ Beats, Bryan Kearney and Stevie G.
This week music promoter Peter Aiken said it is disappointing that it is taking so long for the much-needed Cork event centre to be built.
“This my 21st year doing the Marquee, and I spent 21 years talking about an event centre.
“It’s so disappointing. We would be held so accountable if I said we’re going to put on Zach Bryan and then not do it,” he told the Irish Examiner.
“But they can go and turn the soil and say ‘we’re going to build an event centre’ and then nothing happens.
“In the private world you’re held accountable for these types of things but these people can do that. It’s wrong. There should be event centres the length and breadth of Ireland and they would work.
“The people who built Cork Opera House had vision to build it, but you need that vision now and build an arena. The only person who’s built anything in the past 50 years has been Harry Crosbie.”
