Investigations are underway and a large police cordon remains in place following the blast in Dunmurry, less than five miles from Belfast city centre.
Investigations are underway and a large police cordon remains in place in Dunmurry following the detonation of a suspected car bomb outside a police station last night.
It is believed the explosion occurred around 11:30pm last night. The public are being advised to avoid the area this morning and forensic investigators are currently at the scene.
Dunmurry is located less than five miles from Belfast city centre.
First Minister for Northern Ireland, Sinn Féin’s Michelle O’Neill, condemned the attack on ‘X’ this morning.
Those behind last night’s attack in Dunmurry speak for absolutely no one.
They have no vision, no support, and have nothing to offer our society.
Our communities deserve peace.
