Heavily armed detectives have raided the home of key Kinahan gangster Graham ‘The Wig’ Whelan during a probe into serious threats made against a serving garda.
Whelan’s home was searched by the garda specialist firearms unit as part of a major operation targeting six homes across south Dublin.
