Kim Kardashian snapped at her mom Kris Jenner as she recalled an awkward blind date years ago during an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old reality star – who recently turned heads in a sheer catsuit at her NikeSKIMS launch event – remembered when her mom had set her up on the blind date with an Emmy-winning producer.
However, Kim – who was supported by Kris and sister Khloe Kardashian on the latest episode – had believed at the time that she was meeting the individual for a job interview rather than a date.
The SKIMS founder said that the momager ‘told me I had a business – I had a job interview.’
Kim explained the blind date had taken place before filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians and that her mother told her to go to celebrity hotspot The Ivy in L.A.
‘And it was, like, this TV executive. And she told me it was a job interview, but she told him it was a date.’

Kim explained how she arrived to the restaurant and met up with the executive before telling him about ‘what I want to do.’
‘And I had a resume on me,’ Kim said as the audience laughed. ‘I don’t think she thought I’d be so prepared to bring a a resume. Once I – like, five minutes in, I realized what was up.’
Jimmy then cut in to jokingly add, ‘Here’s my resume. I’m going to date you. Look at what I’ve done. How embarrassing.’
‘I was like, “I’m going to kill you,”‘ Kim said, referencing to her mother.
The talk show host then questioned how the date eventually went, with the TV personality stating that there had been ‘no chemistry.’
Jimmy asked Kris, ‘What was your feedback on your end?’ and the momager expressed, ‘He totally knew because he was also an Emmy award-winning -.’
However, Kris was stopped mid-sentence as Kim called out, ‘Mom, can you stop!’
The interaction caused the live audience to burst out laughing as the talk show host threw his hands to his face.

Kris continued, ‘No, I’m not going to say his name. But he said, “Would it help if I brought my Emmy with me?”‘
While still giggling, Jimmy asked, ‘What?’ while Khloe cut in to say, ‘That’s a red flag.’
Kris added that the TV executive had been ‘kidding’ but she also knew at the time that it wouldn’t work out between the man and her daughter Kim.
‘She also wanted to set me up with someone that thought, like, an Emmy was what was going to, like, seal the deal,’ the mom-of-four said while looking over at Kris.
Jimmy curiously asked Kris if she ‘knows the person now, currently?’ and if she was also ‘friends with him.’
But Kris simply responded with, ‘I plead the fifth.’
When Khloe was asked if she would ever set Kim up, the Good American founder humorously said, ‘Oh, I’m not known as a good picker. So…’
During her appearance on Wednesday’s episode, Kim’s dating life was also a topic that was brought up.
When asked if she was seeing anyone, the TV personality answered, ‘No.’

However, her children have shared their opinions on who they want their famous mom to date.
Kim is mom to North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six – whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
Jimmy said, ‘The last time you were here, we talked about your kids were ready for you to date. And they were making lists of people that you should date.’
The reality star then confirmed that they ‘continue to do that.’
However, the TV personality did not disclose any of the names that are on those lists.
Following her split from Kanye, Kim dated SNL alum Pete Davidson in 2022 and was also linked to NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. from 2023 until April 2024.
Earlier this year, Kim hinted that she was ‘secretly’ dating a new beau – however, her latest appearance on The Tonight Show this week confirmed that she is now single.
Mark Wahlberg was another guest on the show on Wednesday to promote his upcoming movie Play Dirty.
He told the story that involved Kim and recalled how he once adopted a dog for his children and wife.

The actor wanted it to be a surprise and one day, told his kids that ‘Somebody really important is coming today.’
Mark humorously shared that his children assumed the special someone was Kim and informed their mother that the TV personality was going to visit their home.
After his wife Rhea began to panic over the house not being ready for such a visit, Mark told his family that Kim was not coming and that he had gotten a dog.
While his wife was upset at him at first for not having her be involved in the adoption of the pet, she fell in love with the pup and they now ‘have six dogs’ at home.
