The man in his 20s was arrested yesterday.
A man is due to appear in court this morning following a serious assault in Limerick City that has left a prominent local artist with life-changing injuries.
The incident, which occurred on the Old Cratloe Road on March 28th, involved well-known hip-hop dancer and breaker Tobi Omoteso.
Tobi was travelling to set up for the Top 8 Street Dance & Hip-hop Fest when he was the victim of an assault which left him blind in one eye.
More than 70,000 euro has been raised to help pay for his medical bills and future surgeries.
Gardai arrested a man in his 20s yesterday as part of their investigation into the assault.
Gardaí confirmed that a male in his 20s was arrested yesterday as part of the investigation.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Limerick District Court at this Wednesday, April 29th.
