Professional dancer Salome Chachua, who reached the final of RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars three times, has revealed the happy news that she has become a mother

Former Dancing With The Stars pro Salome Chachua has announced the birth of her first child.
The dancer, from Georgia, took to Instagram to share the wonderful news after keeping her pregnancy under wraps.
Salome has now revealed that she welcomed her baby boy on March 28th.
Sharing a picture of her partner holding their little one’s foot, Salome wrote: “My baby Sandro. Thank you God for this endless love.”
It wasn’t long before the new mum was inundated with love and well-wishes from her colleagues and friends from Dancing With The Stars.
Rosanna Davison wrote: “Huge congratulations Salome!”
“Aaaah congratulations Salome,” added James Patrice.
Karen Byrne wrote: “Cutest ever congrats”.
While Arthur Gourounlian commented: “Now this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations.”
Salome joined the cast of Dancing With The Stars back in 2022.
Throughout her time on the show, she reached the final three times with Jordan Conroy, David Whelan and Danny O’Carroll.
The dancer announced she wouldn’t be returning to the show back in November.
She said at the time: “After four wonderful seasons, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from Dancing with the Stars Ireland this year for personal reasons.
“My time on the show has been one of the greatest joys of my career — the energy, the creativity, the incredible team, and of course the warm, welcoming spirit of Ireland. I will truly miss it all.
“I’m so proud to have reached the final three times, and who knows — maybe one day I’ll be back to finally lift that glitterball trophy… preferably with a celebrity who doesn’t mind a lot of extra rehearsals!
“Thank you, Ireland, for every step of this unforgettable journey. I LOVE YOU”.
Pros Denys Samson and Simone Arena also stepped away from the most recent season of the show, with dancers Arianna Favaro, Leonardo Lini and James Cutler joining the line-up.
Leonardo went on to win the season, as he and Rose of Tralee winner Katelyn Cummins lifted the glitterball trophy last month.
