Gardai make arrest after two vehicles were stolen in two hours in Limerick village

GARDAI in County Limerick have arrested a man after two vehicles were stolen in the space of two hours in a village in the early hours of the morning.

Following a query from Limerick Live, a garda spokesperson confirmed that An Garda Siochana “received two reports of incidents of theft of a vehicle that occurred in Bruree, County Limerick on Monday, April 20 between 4am and 6am.

“A male, aged in his 30s, was arrested in relation to the investigations.

“He has since been charged and was scheduled to appear in front of Kilmallock District Court on Friday, April 24 at 10.30 am,” said the garda spokesperson.

It is understood that the accused man was arrested by gardai last Thursday night, April 23.

“As this is now a matter for the courts no further comment is available,” said a garda spokesperson.
