ALERT: Kilkenny people in 'fear' as major garda operation takes place - Ireland News Beep

An Garda Síochana have been carrying out checkpoints across County Kilkenny catching out drivers who fear such traffic stops’.

Nationally, a total of 123 people were arrested for driving under the influence of drink and/or drugs this weekend, while 2,400 drivers were caught speeding over the bank holiday weekend.

“Our Roads Policing Unit are busy with checkpoints today. Those socialising last night fear such traffic stops. The results can hugely affect your future,” a garda social media post read.
