Kerry gardaí are currently investigating a terrifying incident of criminal damage that occurred at a domestic residence in the Cois Coille housing estate in Tralee.
Gardaí received a report at around 4am on Thursday morning regarding damage to the property caused by fire in an incident that has shocked residents of the area.
The Kerryman understands that a downstairs window was smashed and an incendiary was thrown in through the window, leading to fire damage within the home.
In addition, several vehicles parked outside the house are said to have had windows broken during the incident.
The house was occupied at the time of the incident; however, no occupants were injured.
Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
