Letterkenny singer-songwriter Adele Evans has released a powerful debut single in honour of her late father, Peter Timoney.
Peter Timoney, a hugely respected former psychiatric nurse, passed away in January of this year.
Grief, longing, love, and remembrance form Adele’s first release, titled ‘Look For You’.
Anyone who has experienced the loss of someone close will connect with the lyrics written about and for Adele’s beloved father.
The accompanying music video was filmed in her father’s hometown of Fintown, adding another layer of sincerity and emotional connection to the release.
Through both song and visuals, Adele honours his memory in a way that is deeply personal yet universally understood.
The single was recorded at Full Tilt Recording Studios, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, under the guidance of Tommy Conway, with valued support and collaboration from Bri Carr.
With “Look For You,” Adele Evans announces herself as a compelling new voice in Irish music — an artist capable of bridging tradition and contemporary songwriting while connecting deeply with listeners through honesty and emotion.
