King Charles III may be open to forgiving Prince Harry and welcoming him back into the royal fold, but his family, including wife Queen Camilla, is pushing back, a source exclusively tells National Examiner.
“It’s not just William who finds the idea of Charles reconciling with his traitor son repugnant,” the source says. “Camilla will never forgive Harry.”
“She’s still livid over what he wrote about her in Spare and what he said in follow-up interviews,” the source continues.
“I had complex feelings about gaining a step parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,” Harry, 41, wrote in his 2023 memoir, Spare. “In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy?”

Harry — who reunited with his father, 76, earlier this month during a rare visit to the U.K. — explained to Anderson Cooper that he thought of Camilla, 78, as “the villain.”
“She was the third person in their marriage. She needed to rehabilitate her image,” he said in a June 2023 interview, referring to Camilla and Charles’ affair while he was still married to Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
The source explains to National Examiner that “it’s too late” for Queen Camilla, who believes Charles is “a fool” to let Prince Harry back into their lives.
“It will backfire when Harry and Meghan [Markle] do another of their ghastly tell-alls,” the insider adds. “Camilla understands blood is thicker than water but thinks it’s sending a poor message to his other son, the future king.”
While the source acknowledges that ultimately it is the King’s decision whether or not to reconnect with his youngest son, and, eventually, his wife, “[Camilla] certainly won’t be joining him in greeting those wolves in sheep’s clothing.”
