Robbie Keane’s Ferencvaros captured the 2025–26 Hungarian Cup in dramatic fashion this evening, beating Zalaegerszeg 1-0 after extra-time
Ireland international Callum O’Dowda, brought to the reigning Hungarian champions by Keane last year, also played his part in the victory in front of almost 50,000 spectators at Budapest’s Puskas Arena – the scene of Troy Parrott’s remarkable hat-trick for Ireland last November.
