A 92nd-minute goal from Benen Kelly gave Antrim a first-round Tailteann Cup win over the home side in an epic encounter at Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday.
Great credit must go to Carlow, who never came out of the blocks in the first half and trailed 2-10 to 0-7 at the break. Ronan Boyle scored the two Antrim goals in the 22nd and 32nd minutes and, when Eoghan McCabe nailed another three-pointer early in the second half, it looked as if they would sail to victory.
