A young Dublin teenager who was reported missing and believed to have boarded a flight to Paris over the weekend has been found safe and well, gardai have confirmed.
The 15-year-old was reported missing from Dundrum in Dublin on Saturday, May 9 with her family concerned for her welfare.
Gardaí believe that the teenager boarded a flight which arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Saturday morning, with a missing person poster circulated in France giving this as her last known location at that time.
She is then believed to have walked to a bus depot at the airport.
In a statement on Monday morning An Garda Síochána confirmed that the teenager had been located safe and well and thanked the media and the public for their assistance, adding that no further action was required.
