Referee confirmed for Limerick senior hurlers Munster Championship clash with Waterford

THE GAA have announced the officials for the upcoming big championship matches – including Limerick vs Waterford in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.

James Owens will be the man in the middle as the ‘Deise’ come to the TUS Gaelic Grounds for Sunday’s anticipated clash.

It is Owens’ second appointment of the campaign for John Kiely’s men as the Wexford whistler took charge of the defeat against Cork – where ‘Treaty’ captain Cian Lynch received a straight red card.

After two away matches to kick off the campaign, Kiely is looking forward to playing at the Ennis Road venue.

“We train there quite a bit, we know the place intimately, we really are looking forward to these games that are upcoming now and looking forward to having our own support in the stadium as well, they are big factors for us,” Kiely told the Limerick Leader.
