Ikea’s famed for dodgy inflatable furniture. This time they swear they’ve got it right. The PS 2026 Easy Chair was launched at Milan Design Week. It has a foot pump to inflate the cushions and, unlike its predecessors, it won’t let you down. It costs €150 from ikea.com/ie.

Guggle jugs make a glugging sound when pouring liquid. They’ve been a thing since the 1870s and were first made in fish shapes by the Dartmouth Pottery in England. They come in many sizes and finishes, but mostly the same shape. The open mouth of a koi carp forms the mouth of the jug while the tail curls around to form the handle.
