Sam Monaghan – will start against the Scots in Ireland’s closing 6 Nations match on Sunday
The Navan woman comes into the second row for the closing fixture of the campaign
The Ireland Ladies team for Sunday’s 6 Nations finale against Scotland at Lansdowne Road has been named.
And there’s a start place for Navan native Sam Monaghan – having started on the replacements bench up until now, the lock comes into the engine room alongside Fiona Tuite.
Sam will be winning a 31st cap for her country.
Erin King will captain the team at openside flanker.
Sunday’s match has a 2.30pm kick-off time.
