A young Irish man and his girlfriend have been killed in a road incident in Thailand.
The nationality of the man’s girlfriend was not immediately known.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is aware of this case and is providing consular assistance,” the Department said on Sunday in reply to questions.
“As with all consular cases, the Department does not comment on the details of individual cases.”
