Salma Hayek stepped out for a glamorous evening in Cannes alongside her husband, François-Henri Pinault, and stepdaughter Mathilde Pinault.
The actress wore a sculptural one-shouldered Gucci gown to the 2026 Kering Women in Motion Awards on May 17, which was also attended by Julianne Moore and Demi Moore.
Hayek and Mathilde, 25, have long expressed their affection for one another.
When Salma Hayek stepped out at the 2026 Kering Women in Motion Awards at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress made it a family affair.
On May 17, Hayek posted a carousel to Instagram that included shots of her posing in a sculptural white feathered Gucci gown, the water acting as a serene backdrop behind her. After showing the custom one-shouldered gown from both the front and the back, the actress posed alongside husband François-Henri Pinault and stepdaughter Mathilde Pinault for another photo.
“The night starts here, moments before the Kering Women in Motion Dinner✨,” Hayek captioned the post.
Hayek is close to Mathilde, 25, who serves as the VIP and Celebrities Coordinator at Boucheron—a role she announced on LinkedIn recently. Hayek and her husband share a daughter, Valentina, born in 2007; he is also a father to daughter Mathilde and son François, whom he shares with ex Dorothée Lepère, as well as a son, Augustin, whom he shares with ex Linda Evangelista.
Hayek wore a suite of jewelry from Boucheron, including the brand’s Acanthe earrings set with 31.89 carats of emeralds on white gold and paved with diamonds. She also wore the Miroirs Infinis ring, paved with diamonds on white gold with rock crystal, as well as the Miroirs Infinis ring set with jade and paved with diamonds on white gold.

“I became a mother very late,” Hayek told Vogue Mexico in 2022 (per Today). “I did it once I found my partner for life, that I had a stable career, but I wanted a [child] so badly that nothing else mattered.”
Speaking to Red magazine in 2017, Hayek called her stepchildren a “blessing,” adding, “I always wanted to have a lot of children, and I was not able to. My body, as a miracle, had one.”
“The huge blessing I’ve had is that my husband has three other children, so I have four,” she continued. “And they are all so different.”

Mathilde told Paris Match in 2022 that her stepmother is someone who has helped her in “everyday life,” saying she has “a flame that calms me.”
“She teaches me to keep a sense of priorities,” she said. “I have already accompanied her on film shoots. I was able to observe how she managed her schedule, how she learned her texts at night. She guides me in a very pragmatic way to face difficulty after difficulty.”

She told Vanity Fair the same year, “I owe Salma a great lesson. She’s a diva, she has a complicated life, but she taught me how important it is to simplify doubts and fears, how to scale them down to the simplicity of everyday life. I call her often, and when something isn’t working, she has the ability to take the weight out of difficulties and turn them into obstacles you can face step by step.”

At Sunday evening’s event, Julianne Moore received the Kering Women in Motion Award, which celebrates how cinema can advance the role of women in society, per Variety. The event was also attended by Demi Moore and other luminaries.

This marked Hayek and Mathilde’s second outing in May. Earlier this month, the two—along with François-Henri and Valentina—attended a gala dinner in Venice, Italy, where the three women coordinated in elegant black gowns.
