BREAKING: GAA confirm fixture details for Mayo-Monaghan All-Ireland tie

The GAA have confirmed the date, time, and venue for the all-important All-Ireland Championship meeting between Mayo and Monaghan.

Both sides were drawn for the Round One fixture in this newly-introduced competition structure earlier this month, marking only the second meeting of the pair in the competition’s history

The Green and Red will be coming off a five-week lay-off following their loss to Roscommon in the Connacht series, while Gabriel Bannigan’s side will be in off the back of the Ulster final loss to Armagh.

Now, we know precisely where and when these two counties will square off in pursuit of a place in Round Two A.

The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship meeting of Mayo and Monaghan will take place in Saint Tiernach’s Park, Clones, on Sunday, May 31

Throw in is scheduled for 4 pm while the game will be shown live on RTÉ.
