Former Limerick U20 hurler named in London panel for Joe McDonagh Cup match

A FORMER Limerick minor and U20 hurler is in line to make his senior inter-county debut for London at the weekend.

Ben Herlihy has been named on the Exiles panel for their concluding Joe McDonagh Cup clash with Laois.

The Castletown-Ballyagran clubman represented the county at U20 level in 2020 alongside the likes of Colin Coughlan, Aidan O’Connor and Cathal O’Neill. He also played in the 2018 Munster minor final where Limerick were beaten by Tipperary.

Herlihy is one of four Limerick men in the panel alongside Dylan Dawson, Donnacha Leahy (both Blackrock) and Padraig Collins (Tournafulla).

Sunday’s clash in Ruislip throws in at 1pm.
