Limerick’s senior camogie side suffered defeat in their All Ireland championship group opener at Nowlan Park today.

Dave Deady’s side were well beaten by Kilkenny on a 3-19 to 1-11 scoreline.

Limerick will move on now from arguably their toughest fixture with Offaly coming to town next Saturday.

Two teams from the group of 6 will advance to the All Ireland knockouts.
