Newly-crowned Connacht champions Roscommon begin their All-Ireland campaign against a Tyrone side who exited the Ulster SFC back on Sunday, April 12.
Both these teams have something to prove following the provincial Championships. The Rossies will be out to prove they can be a force outside Connacht, although it is 25 years since a team from the westen province won the Sam Maguire.
The Red Hands, who brought Armagh to extra-time in the Ulster preliminary round, reached the All-Ireland semi-finals last season and will be determined to enjoy a prolonged run in the new-look All-Ireland series.
