A beloved Galway shopping centre store has closed down after 32 years of business.
It’s Magic has closed its doors for good in Eyre Square Shopping Centre will no longer be open, as one Reddit user shared in the r/Galway subreddit.
Sharing an image of the outside of the shop with its shutters down, the user said: “Just heard it’s shut down.
“This has been a favourite of mine every time since I was a young lad and started taking the nieces and nephews every xmas.
“Sad to see it go.”
The popular toy store was open since 1994.
Other users commented on the Reddit post sharing fond memories from their childhood.
One person said: “I went in there with my kids about a month ago, it had very little stock. I remember as a kid going in there and being amazed by the place.
“Another bit of my childhood gone.”
Someone else wrote: “Used to spend ages in there looking at all the warhammer boxes and blister packs.
“It was the only place that had them for many many years, they had a great selection too.”
