Limerick brothers bidding for All-Ireland glory with New York

Two Limerick men are part of the New York panel who are preparing for Saturday’s Nicky Rackard Cup final.

Doon brothers Brian and Gerard McPartland are part of the Exiles squad for the clash with Tyrone in Croke Park on Saturday at 1pm.

New York defeated Mayo last weekend with Brian starting wing-back and Gerard coming on in the second half of the 4-18 to 1-18 win.

New York won promotion to the Rackard Cup after winning promotion from the Lory Meagher Cup last year where they beat Cavan in the final.

The Rackard Cup final is part of a Croke Park double header before the Christy Ring Cup final between Kerry and Derry, which throws in a 3pm.
