Galway has been chosen as the location for IKEA’s largest Plan and Order Point in Ireland.
Located in the Gateway Retail Park, it will be a smaller store designed to provide customers with bespoke kitchen, bedroom, and storage planning services.
Designed to bring “the IKEA experience to the West”, the facility will be IKEA’s 10th customer meeting point in Ireland.
It will feature design specialists to help customers curate, purchase, and install kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces.
Additionally, there will be a range of around 250 home furnishing accessories available to buy and take home on the day.
The Plan and Order Point will contain a Click & Collect area, a self-serve section for flat-pack bestsellers, and an in-stores returns location.
It aims to ensure easy accessibility and enhances convenience for customers across the region.
Further details on the opening date are due to be announced in the near future.
