A man was rushed to hospital following an alleged assault in Dublin earlier today.
The incident, which Dublin Live understands was an alleged stabbing, happened on the Clonard Road in Crumlin at around 12:30pm. A man was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are understood to be non-life threatening.
Another man was also treated at the scene. Gardai are making enquiries into the incident, but Dublin Live understands no official complaint has been made.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an alleged assault on Clonard Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12 today Friday 29 th 2026 shortly after 12:30pm. An adult male was conveyed to St James’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
“A second adult male received medical treatment at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.”
