Shoppers across Ireland are being urged to check supermarket opening hours before heading out this June bank holiday weekend, as a number of major retailers will be operating different schedules.
Whether you’re stocking up for a barbecue, planning the weekly shop or just picking up a few essentials, it’s worth noting that opening hours may be different to usual – particularly on bank holiday Monday.
The June bank holiday falls on Monday, June 1. While supermarkets will remain open, many will either operate reduced hours or follow their usual Sunday schedule.
Most stores are open as normal today, but shoppers can expect earlier closing times and, in some cases, later opening hours on Monday.
