Disha Vakani was once on every Indian household’s TV as the leading lady of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma.’ However, in September 2017, it was first revealed that the actress would be going on a maternity break. While fans had been left wondering as to when she would reprise her role, Vakani never returned. She chose to prioritize her family life and focused on caring for her child. In an interview with us last year, her brother, Mayur Vakani, aka Sundarlal, who is still a part of the show, revealed that she has moved on and is focusing on being a mother. Till now, no one else has been cast in Daya Ben’s role.
