A man in his 20s has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Dublin.
The cyclist was hit by a car on Shangan Road in Ballymun at around 7.45am.
He was taken to the Mater hospital with serious injuries.
Gardaí said the driver of the car left the scene.
The road is closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone witnesses, or road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
