EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (10 June), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has finally exposed Oscar Branning’s huge betrayal, in dramatic scenes involving Jasmine Fisher and Josh Goodwin. While in a relationship with Jasmine, Oscar has grown closer to her twin brother Josh, and the pair have slept together a couple of times over recent months.
Jasmine has no idea about their secret liaison, but this week Oscar and Josh kissed again in the Fox-Trueman house – and Kat spotted them through the window when she headed over to invite Josh to Jasmine’s birthday meal.

The Slaters came together to get ready for the twins’ birthday celebrations in today’s episode, but Kat was in far from high spirits. Alfie noticed something was wrong, so she told him about Josh and Oscar’s passionate encounter.
Kat explained that she decided not to say anything to them, as she wanted Jasmine to enjoy her birthday, and she also didn’t want to drop that bombshell on oblivious Zoe. However, Alfie warned her that the truth will always come out eventually.
Meanwhile, Josh celebrated his birthday with Kim and Yolande and made plans over video call to see his mum later – with Dawn Steele making her first appearance as Sandra since April.
Oscar was hiding upstairs, with he and Josh having spent the night together again. But the pair got a rude awakening when Kat stormed over to the house and found Oscar hiding, then revealed that she saw them kissing.
Kat forced the truth out of Oscar and Josh and berated them for their behaviour. She demanded that Josh attends Jasmine’s birthday dinner, as per his sister’s wishes, and she told Oscar to stay away at all costs.

Oscar debriefed this confrontation with Penny in the café, then Jasmine arrived to make amends after slapping him yesterday. Jasmine invited him to her meal, but Oscar made an excuse and said it should probably be family only.
Meanwhile, Josh tried to back out of attending the meal, but after Zoe told him an old story about her and Kat, he felt he had no choice but to turn up. Zoe then found Jasmine crying, upset that Oscar wasn’t coming.
The twins later headed to the meal at The Vic together, with the whole Slater family celebrating. But both Kat and Josh were concerned when Zoe arrived with Oscar in tow, as a way to cheer up Jasmine.

Later, Josh excused himself from the table, and Jasmine found him in the kitchen. She gave her brother a handmade bracelet as a present, which only made him feel worse about the messy situation.
The twins returned to the table where everyone sang happy birthday to them, but this was the final straw for Josh and he revealed everything.
“I can’t keep doing this to you, Jasmine,” he said. “We can’t keep doing this, it’s not fair. Oscar cheated on you, with me. We’ve been sleeping together.”
How will Jasmine react to this huge bombshell?
