Mayo is the best county in Ireland for raising a family, according to a recent survey.
Key criteria like schools, crime rates, and access to green spaces were included in the Quote Devil study.
With its “appealing lifestyle” and reasonably priced housing, Mayo was at the top of the list.
Donegal and Kerry came in second and third, respectively, and Sligo, Clare, Cork, and Dublin were in the top ten.
Kildare, on the opposite end of the spectrum, is the hardest region to raise a family because of its expensive housing, scarcity of green areas, and elevated crime rate.
