A gorgeous model from Cork is now engaged to a Premier League footballer following his proposal at sunset.
Aine May Kennedy accepted Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Conor Gallagher’s proposal after he knelt down during a getaway in Mallorca on June 10.
The delighted pair posted photographs on Instagram with Aine penning: “Forever, living my Blair Waldorf dream.”
Gallagher subsequently wrote: “Here’s to forever – 10.06.2026.”
Who is Aine May Kennedy?
Aine, 29, secured a place in the top 10 of the Miss Universe Ireland competition back in 2017. She is a model and dancer from County Cork where her family operate the Kades Kounty pub in the village of Glenville.

Her father, Barry, previously spoke to the Sunday World about how Aine encountered his future son-in-law.
He disclosed: “She was going to college. They were all in the one scene. He was in the Chelsea Academy. They were all only 17 or 18 when they were going to the same places and met up.”
Barry joked that Gallagher, who represented England at Euro 2024, could have been eligible to play for Ireland because of his family connections to County Donegal.
And regarding whether he ever imagined his daughter would be a WAG, he chuckled: “I didn’t, sure that’s the way it goes.”
Glenville native Aine departed Cork to pursue a dream of becoming a dancer in London where Pulse Model Agency recruited her. This led to her pursuing fashion shoots before she began dating Conor Gallagher, who was then a Chelsea academy footballer.

She now boasts 64,800 Instagram followers and, following Gallagher’s appointment as Chelsea first team captain, was occasionally photographed enjoying retail therapy along Sloane Street’s boutiques.
Following one fixture at Stamford Bridge, she wrote online: “Another year. My best friend. I am so proud of everything you achieve. Watching you become captain, and what it meant to you this year was speechless. All the ups and downs. Yes this year has been one of the best.”
She has been in a relationship with Gallagher for nearly eight years and relocated to Spain alongside him in 2024 when Atletico Madrid secured the player’s signature.
That same year, Gallagher accompanied Aine to Croke Park to witness Cork compete in the All-Ireland hurling final against Clare.

Gallagher has since returned to the capital with Spurs, and following his move to the North London club in January, she shared a pitch-side photograph with the caption: “London we are back.”
Earlier this year, to mark Gallagher’s 27th birthday, Aine posted a selfie alongside her partner and their dog, Freddy, writing: “Happy Birthday Con. Not enough days in the world could celebrate you. We love you.”
Gallagher responded: “Love you so much.”
Following their recent announcement, singer Marvin Humes commented: “Congratulations guys, amazing news.”
