A woman has been taken to hospital after she was attacked in Dublin city centre.
The woman, who is in her 50s, was attacked on Dublin’s Exchequer Street at around 4.40am in the morning.
She is understood to have left the area and collapsed outside the Lego store on Grafton Street some time after.
She was rushed to St James’s Hospital for treatment for what gardai say are thought to be non-life threatening injuries.

Pictures have since emerged of blood outside the shop in the busy shopping street and an area around it sealed off.
In a statement gardai said: “Gardaí and emergency services responded to report of an alleged assault on Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, that occurred on Thursday 18th June 2026, at approximately 4.40am.
“A woman (aged in her 50’s) was conveyed to St James’s Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
“Investigations ongoing.”
